Lemonade Stand '11

Last year, we decided to have a Lemonade Stand in our neighborhood to help raise money for our team. We were hoping to raise a couple gundred dollars, but...the first annual Ellie Belly Lemonade stand was more successful that we ever couple have imagined. We raised.....

$720!!!!! In just 5 hours! That, combined with online donation from our neighbors, and our neighborhood donated about $1000!

Here is the message I write out after the big day, with some pictures. We plan on having another lemonade stand this year!

Thank you  to all who came out. We estimate over 100 people came out to support us. It was a fantastic afternoon!
We also wanted to thank our parents and my Aunt Sandy for coming out to help us set up and man the stand, and BIG thanks to my cousin Debra for making YUMMY lemon baked goodies to sell. Seriously BEST lemon pie EVER!!! Also it was so great to have Justin's Uncle John here from Hawaii.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

First Annual Ellie Belly Lemonade Stand
When: Saturday April 16th 11am-4pm
Where: At Esella's home (email TeamEsella@hotmail.com for directions)
What: When life gives you lemons (aka Arthritis) make lemonade! Our very own Ellie Belly Jelly Bean (aka Esella) will be hosting her first Lemonade Stand! However, this won't be just ANY lemonade stand...This lemonade stand comes with prizes! Buying a cup of lemonade or a tasty lemon treat gets you one free raffle ticket and additional raffle tickets will be available for a small charge. 100% of the proceeds from the lemonade stand and the raffle will go directly to the Arthritis Foundation under Esella's name. In addition to Lemonade and Raffle prizes, there will be some yummy goodies to snack on and fun goodies for the kids!

There will plenty of fun, family raffle prizes including gift cards to local restaurants and businesses, beauty products,  and a gift certificate for Jenn Hoffman Photography valued at over $200! Please scroll down for a list of our fantastic raffle prizes. 

The raffle will take place around 4pm on April 16th. You do not need to be present to win. If you cannot make it to the lemonade stand but would like to purchase raffle tickets, please email us at TeamEsella@hotmail.com.
